Now Christmas really is just round the corner and we'd like to wish you all a very merry Christmas and a happy New Year.
This is our last newsletter for 2013, so we thought we'd make it brief and include just three quick ideas for you to think about over the next month or so.

Give some thought to the social media feeds and news items you'll need to update or that you're going to need to have ready for your social media marketing over the holiday period. 
If you've got Christmas specials you can either take them off before you start your holidays and replace them with a New Year message, or just put up several new posts so the specials fade to the background.
If you find it challenging to keep the content updated regularly on your Facebook page, check out Buffer to help make updating content easy and timely. Or you can just set up a schedule of posts in Facebook of course.

Take some time out in the New Year and give your website a bit of a spring clean
– it’s easy to do. 
Make sure that prices listed on your website are current and any competitions or special offers you ran during the year have not expired.
Check the product details, contact details, that your images are still relevant, that all the links are working correctly and that you’re in Google Places. And check that your most recent newsletters, media releases and articles are available. Read more here.

Including a "copyright ©" at the bottom of each of your web pages is a bit of 
protection if someone tries to use your content without asking you. Of course, it's not totally bulletproof, but not only may it make someone stop and think about using your content, but also a number of countries do adhere to international copyright law. And, if you do use this already, make sure it's up to date, with the current year showing.
